Francesca Principato was born in 1963 in Avezzano. Here she studied at the "Vincenzo Bellisario" State Institute of Art, where, in 1982 she obtained the High School Diploma in Applied Art. She began to get passionate about painting on ceramics and third fire and worked for a certain period in the "Il coccio" ceramics workshop in Avezzano. He organized an exhibition for this workshop in the sixteenth-century Spanish fortress of LAquila and enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in the same city, where he graduated in 1986. He started a artistic laboratory of painting on ceramics, porcelain, fabric and wood: "Pieffe Studio ceramico". He continues his career as a teacher of Plastic Disciplines and Textile Design at the "V. Bellisario” in Avezzano and “Fulvio Muzi” in LAquila. Winner of a competition in 1990, she has worked since 1995 as a tenured teacher of Art and Image at lower secondary education institutions. She currently teaches at the "A.Vivenza-Giovanni XXIII" comprehensive school in Avezzano. Participates in numerous competitions. Multiple awards, together with her students, by the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi for the projects carried out in collaboration with the environmental association V.A.S. (Verdi Ambiente e Società) founded by Senator Guido Pollice. She has organized some personal exhibitions at the PRO LOCO of Avezzano and participated in some group exhibitions. Passionate about all forms of art, in recent years she has mainly dedicated herself to the creation of with acrylic technique on canvas. He loves to represent naturalistic figures and elements. He loves the Art Nouveau style but also ranges in the modern pop art genre. He travels frequently and often visits places of art, exhibitions, archaeological sites and monuments. He draws inspiration from his experiences to provide original and creative work inputs to his students.
